Just wanted to let you know that the new furnace you installed last April 2009 is working GREAT. It is the top of the line Carrier gas furnace and I also have the top of the line Heat Pump. I just received my Electic and Heat bill and compared them to last year at this same time. My total bill is about $240.00 LESS then it was last year. Also you guys did a great job in the instalation and the follow-up after the installation. Thanks!

We are writing this letter to tell you how professional your employees are. On Wednesday, December 2, 2009, we called to have someone come and give us an estimate on replacing our furnace and air conditioner. I talked to Don McWhirter and he had David Ambler come to our home to give us an estimate the same day. David put us at ease immediately because he was very knowledgeable about the heating/cooling systems. He explained the different types of systems that would work in our home and gave us an estimate. We decided to install the Carrier Infinity System in our home. He was able to get a work crew out to our home the next day. What a relief, even though our old system was functioning properly, the weather was turning cold and we were interested in the tax credit. David is an asset to your company.
On December 3, 2009, Jimmy and Dustin, the installers arrived to install the furnace and air conditioner. They worked as a team and were very competent, efficient and had our system installed in 1 day. They were very clean with the installation, our basement was swept cleaner than when they arrived. There personalities' and work ethic was A+. Again, they are an asset to your company.
On December 7, 2009, Blaise McWhirter, performed a Blower Door test. Again, he was very professional and knowledgeable about the test. He was able to explain where we were losing air and gave us an estimate to remedy the problems. He will be here on December 14, 2009 to seal the ducts, insulate the can lights and insulate our attic. I'm sure he will be as competent and efficient as the other employees. Again, another asset to your company.
We are very happy with our furnace and air conditioner and the treatment we have had from the employees of Godby. The furnace runs so quiet we do not know when it runs except air comes out of the registers. We are looking forward to next summer so we can use the air
conditioner.

I had you guys out to do a furnace cleaning. Greg was the technician who showed for the appointment. He is definitely professional, smart and did a superb job. He was completely professional. I received a call from a Godby representative checking to make sure I was home and to notify me he was on his way. This little gesture was recognized and appreciated. If this is how you consistently run your business, I will be utilizing your services for winter and summer year after year. It was a nice change, as well as a pleasure to have service provided by such competence. It is definitely a refreshing change. I will be recommending you to those who are in need of your services in the future.

I recently had a service call in which Duane was the service tech. He was all but professional and was exactly what you would want in a service guy. He gave me a summation of what was wrong and what it would take to get me back going. He was not in a hurry to get to another job, it seemed as though I was the most important customer at the time.
Kudos to Duane, he gave Godby a good name in my time of need. All my future business will be done with Godby.

I had a new Carrier Furnace (58CVA) and Carrier Heat Pump (25HPA5) installed on 6/30/09. I would like to pass along my extreme satisfaction in the professionalism, skill, and quality of the installation team of Jimmy and Nick. I would also like to extend my personal pleasure in all my dealings with my sales person, David Ambler.
I conducted many interviews with about 8 other large and mid-sized Heating and Air Conditioning installation companies around the greater Indianapolis area. I discovered there were so many options in the equipment, guarantees, warrantees, and installations teams. This whole experience was an education. It was David Ambler that convinced me to choose Godby in my Heat and Air needs. David took time to explain the difference in the equipment Godby offered, as well as, the equipment the competition presented and in a respectful manner. It was extremely difficult to sift through all the data, pamphlets, and proposals, but David summed it up quite succinctly…it all comes down to the Quality of the Company/Installation team and the reputation of the equipment manufacturers. Each and every of my concerns were addressed and every commitment was delivered that was noted by David in the proposal.
Jimmy and Nick are a great example of quality installers and how your mentoring process is with Godby. Jimmy took his time to explain the details of his installation and the importance of exceeding customer expectations. Nick was a real trooper in doing a lot of the grunt work and paying close attention to supporting Jimmy. They truly worked as a team. Their roles and work ethic demonstrated the value add Godby presents to their customers during the install and reassures me in conducting future business and referrals to my friends, family, and neighbors with Godby. I cannot brag about your service and quality solution to my personal needs enough. I am very finicky about whom I put my endorsement on and I feel confident in partnering with Godby.

Hi Tom,
I just wanted to let you know about the experience Jim and I had recently with Godby Heating and Air Conditioning.
We knew that that we had major issues with our old air conditioner which has leaked Freon for the last year or so and also had some questions about the duct work in our house as Jim has had some allergic symptoms.
After lunch with Jenny one day, I called Craig Todd and got the ball rolling. A very nice and knowledgeable young man, Stephen, paid us a visit to assess the situation. He spoke to us about various options ranging from fixing our unit to replacing it. DeWayne paid a second visit and recommended that we replace our unit with a more energy efficient brand.
We always felt that we were given complete, objective information and never felt like someone was trying to sell us something.
Dale was the installation technician. The job was done in no time and Jim was given a thorough explanation of the new computerized thermostat. It's great.
After the installation, your office called a few times to be sure that a quality control visit was scheduled. Steve was the technician who checked out everything. Again this was a very professional visit.
The story doesn't end here. About a week after the installation, Jim was travelling and I was preparing to go to Florida for a getaway week with my sisters. When I came home from work, I notice a strange sound like a vibration coming from under the kitchen. I didn't think much about it as they are doing roadwork on Keystone (jackhammers?) and I thought maybe the new air conditioner makes more noise than the last unit.
Two days went by and the night before my flight to Florida I noticed the vibration again and decided to go the sub basement to check things out. My sump pump was gushing water! It hadn't rained in a few days so I knew this was not a good thing. I remembered that plumbing was a Godby service and got on the phone.
I spoke with a night operator who left a message for a service technician. Jason called me within the hour. I described my dilemma to him - sump pump is vibrating and leaking water and I have a car picking me up to take me to the airport at 8:00 am in the morning. He assured me he would come early in the morning and have the problem solved before my car arrived. AND HE DID! He was at my house an hour before the car came. He analyzed the situation and replaced the pump entirely. As my car arrived to take me to the airport, Jason was pulling away in his service truck. I was able to go on vacation with peace of mind.
Your people certainly deliver on the brand, Tom. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate the Godby level of service.

We recently had our Carrier AC/Heat pump serviced by your company. I cannot begin to express how pleased we were with your service professional, Steve Backemeyer. I cannot recall ever having had such a positive experience with a service call for a major appliance. Mr. Backemeyer took the time to explain all of our options regarding our 15 year old heat pump/AC unit. We may be moving from this area in the coming months thus we have decided to hold on replacing the unit at this time. However, if we do stay in the area we will be having Godby replace the unit without hesitation. I can say this with the utmost confidence as we have been able to make a direct comparison of Godby's service with other dealers in the area e.g. William's & LA Cooling/heating. There is no comparison!

I’ve been meaning to send you a note of appreciation for several months concerning the Infinity HVAC system you installed at our home last year. It is truly INCREDIBLE! Everything your Customer Care Advisor promised is actually true:
The overall comfort level is now enjoyed by everyone. I’m not “always too hot” and my wife’s not “always too cold”.
The quietness of the exterior unit is phenomenal. We actually enjoy sitting out on our back porch with our family and friends.
The cost savings on our bill was recognized within the first month, and continues to impress us.
Your installation crew was equally impressive when they came out to install. They were professional in appearance and very knowledgeable about Carriers Infinity line. They even worked through lunch to ensure the system was back on line by early evening. They cleaned up all of their trash, loaded up the old equipment, and even vacuumed the floor area. The foreman explained the system to my wife and me answering any questions we had, with the utmost professionalism.
As you recall, your price was slightly higher than another proposal I had received, and my current system was less than 8 years old. However I’m convinced it was the best money I have spent on upgrading my home.
Thanks again for suggesting the Infinity System. We couldn’t be more pleased.
