CertainTeed Selects Terre Haute, Indiana, for New Manufacturing Facility

VALLEY FORGE, Penn., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CertainTeed Corporation, one of North America's leading building products manufacturers, announced today it has chosen Terre Haute, Indiana, as the site for a new production
facility to manufacture fiber cement siding. When completed, the plant will manufacture CertainTeed's highly popular WeatherBoards(TM) line of fiber cement siding. Available in traditional lap siding profiles, vertical profiles and decorative shapes, WeatherBoards features the uncanny appearance of wood cladding, carries a Class 1 (A) fire rating and is not susceptible to rot or insect infestation. FiberCement siding is becoming a product of choice for many homebuilders and remodelers. Gutters

K Style gutters were designed originally for roofs with flat vertical edges. These roofs are commonly seen on Colonial Revival and other structures popular from the 1910's through the 1930's. The K Style gutter is shaped to be mounted against the flat fascia board, and to mimic classical crown moldings. Seamless 6", .27 gauge gutters and accommodating down spout, help move rain water from the roof to the ground or drain system.
